We love Angelica's latin name, "Angelica archangelica," it's a bit dramatic, just like the plant's appearance. It's been intentionally cultivated by humans for quite a long time, for food, for medicine, and for magic. It is a traditional plant ally of the indigenous Sami people of Finland, and grows wild in many other parts of Europe, as well. Many people think of this as a "women's herb," for a variety of reasons.
